About Us
Eden's Forest is a Community Interest Company that provides a variety of woodland-based programmes with wellbeing and compassionate care at it's heart. We believe that spending time in the great outdoors does you good in every way possible.
It is this ethos that is the bedrock of Eden’s Forest CIC. Using woodlands and countryside as our office, we help people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to develop new skills and improve their well-being.
As well as bespoke outdoor learning programmes on behalf of partner organisations, we host projects ranging from Wellness, therapeutic and rehabilitation programmes to corporate team building days and events, curriculum-based Forest Schools and holiday bushcraft activities to Birthday and Hen Parties.

Our Woodland Home
You can find us at our stunning woodland site, between Honley and Farnley Tyas, which we have developed into a versatile and exciting outdoor space. As you make you way down our winding path, you are very quickly enveloped in a sense of calm, leaving everyday worries behind as you reach our camp in the clearing.

Our 30 acre woodland site includes a round-house and covered open fire to protect us from the elements, a kitchen, pizza oven and a billowing parachute above our tool area. Within our woods we have different areas for every mood and to support your wellbeing. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of our trickling spring stream, listen to the wind through leaves and the birds on the breeze, enjoy a woodland walk and find your own serene spot to quietly sit in dappled sunlight. Our activities are varied and complement the changing seasons, using our woodland's natural resources; activities include bushcraft, woodwork, whittling, willow work, den building, teaching safe tool use, pewter casting and campfire cooking. For those with an adventuring spirit, experience our zipwire, giant swing and cargo net.
As well as our in house team we have regular specialists who can offer angling, yoga, forest therapy and art. For your comfort we have a composting-loo hut and you can stay cosy and happy by borrowing clothing if the weather turns, as supplied by our partners TOG24.

Our team is made up of amazing people qualified in a wide range of skills and with an incredible wealth of experience. With three in-house staff and a large bank of tried & tested contractors available to us we can cater for every desire. Our staff comprises qualified forest school practitioners, outdoor learning practitioners, mental health support staff and teachers who always work at a high level with all groups.

“It’s a safe place where people can get away from modern living, try new things and learn life-skills. There’s something about being close to nature that improves mental health, builds confidence and develops a sense of wellbeing” said Adam, Managing Director, Eden’s Forest CIC.
